Our last lesson of the term explored how to create flow and move over and across the floor in a smooth and satisfying way. The movements are often surprising in an effortless and fun way; they are foundation movement qualities with which to encounter the world. We also created a one word trigger, anchor or mantra to help recall this quality.
Many people first encounter Feldenkrais to aid rehabilitation from injury. Most stay on long after any injury is healed or rehabilitation complete because they recognise the ongoing benefits in their lives. |
