Moment-by-moment awareness in action gives us ways to access the intelligence of mind and body. The ability to observe our movements, sensations and feelings brings a sense of embodied self-awareness. Connected to mindfulness of thoughts, evaluations and the inner dialogue with which we all live, a unity of body and mind is available.
Joining a Feldenkrais class will give you the opportunity to observe yourself in action, to recover patterns no longer used and to experience new ones. Many people first encounter Feldenkrais to aid rehabilitation from injury. Most stay on long after any injury is healed or rehabilitation complete because they recognise the on-going benefits in their lives. |
