Moving and Learning
Movement, relationship and learning are primary to our lives; to living and growing and finding a satisfying direction and quality of life.
How alive and fulfilled do you feel? Are there some parts of you and of your life which seem easy, some uneasy and are there white spaces of which you know little?
Joining a Feldenkrais class will give you the opportunity to observe yourself in action, to recover patterns no longer used and to experience new ones. Noticing movement gives us access to the bottom-up process of mind. Bringing attention to quality encourages the top-down process of discernment, regulating the direction and nature of energy and the flow of information.
Many people first encounter Feldenkrais to aid rehabilitation from injury. Most stay on long after any injury is healed or rehabilitation complete because they recognise the on-going benefits in their lives. |
